The Sand Plant Administrator provides essential administrative and front-office support to ensure smooth daily operations of the sand plant. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and drivers while maintaining compliance with site protocols. The Administrator also supports plant management with clerical tasks, recordkeeping, and scheduling.
· Front Desk Operations: Greet and check in/out all visitors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site protocols. Maintain accurate logs of site access and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
· Office Maintenance: Keep the front office clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Coordinate with maintenance staff as needed for office and facility upkeep.
· Package & Mail Handling: Receive, log, and distribute incoming packages and mail. Notify appropriate personnel of deliveries and ensure timely handoff.
· Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, and general clerical tasks. Support plant management with scheduling, document preparation, and communications. Submit employee timesheets to the Payroll Clerk on a weekly basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role (industrial environment a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

- May require occasional interaction with drivers, vendors, and plant personnel in production areas.
