Position Summary: 

The Vice President, AI Enablement and Architecture is a senior IT executive responsible for defining and executing ICC’s enterprise architecture vision and accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across the organization. 

This role ensures alignment between ICC’s business strategy, digital platforms, data ecosystem, and AI capabilities to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and scalable growth. The VP leads enterprise architecture governance, establishes AI enablement frameworks, and partners with business leaders to embed AI into both internal operations and customer-facing solutions. 


Essential Functions: 


Enterprise Architecture Leadership 

  • Define and evolve ICC’s enterprise architecture strategy, principles, and standards 
  • Establish governance processes, architecture review boards, and decision frameworks 
  • Ensure alignment across ERP, digital platforms, data architecture, and integration layers 
  • Drive system rationalization, modernization, and technical debt reduction 
  • Champion cloud-first, scalable, and secure design patterns 

AI Enablement Strategy & Execution 

  • Lead enterprise AI strategy, including generative AI, automation, and emerging capabilities 
  • Establish AI governance, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices 
  • Build and scale an AI enablement operating model (tools, frameworks, playbooks) 
  • Drive enterprise-wide AI adoption aligned to measurable business outcomes (productivity, efficiency, growth) 
  • Partner with business units to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases 

Data, Platforms, and Integration 

  • Ensure data readiness, governance, and accessibility to support AI and analytics initiatives 
  • Align data architecture with AI and enterprise platforms 
  • Oversee integration strategy across systems to enable seamless workflows and automation 

Innovation & Transformation 

  • Lead technology innovation initiatives that support ICC’s strategic objectives 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into practical, business-relevant solutions 
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery models, tooling, and engineering practices 

Business Partnership 

  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align technology strategy with business priorities 
  • Act as a trusted advisor on technology and AI opportunities, risks, and investments 
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes 

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Build and lead a high-performing Architecture and AI Enablement organization 
  • Establish clear roles across architecture domains (enterprise, solution, data, AI) 
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning 
  • Partner with Engineering, Cybersecurity, and TAMs to ensure cohesive delivery 
Requirements

Essential Skills and Education/Experience: 


Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience 
  • 12+ years of progressive IT experience with significant leadership in architecture and/or AI 
  • Proven experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives 
  • Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent) 

Technical Expertise 

  • Strong cloud platform experience (Azure preferred) 
  • Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, and data platforms 
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and modern application architectures 
  • Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and regulatory considerations 

Leadership Capabilities 

  • Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management 
  • Proven ability to lead through change and drive adoption at scale 

Physical Requirements:? 

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or desk? 
  • Occasional standing, walking, and reaching?to?access?files or office supplies? 
  • Manual dexterity for typing, filing, and handling office equipment? 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, documents)? 
  • Visual acuity to read printed and digital materials? 
  • Auditory ability to communicate effectively in person and over?the phone? 
  • May need to climb stairs in multi-level office building?
