Description

The Marketing Coordinator is a highly organized, proactive professional who supports the Marketing team across operations, project management, campaign execution, and content coordination. This role is essential to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, branded consistency, and internal processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and excels at managing projects, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and driving operational efficiency across marketing programs.


Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Operations & Administration

  • Oversee the marketing team’s shared inbox, ensuring timely communication, appropriate prioritization, and resolution of inquiries.
  • Manage marketing financial tools, including Emburse and the marketing checkbook.
  • Oversee print portal operations, including managing incoming print requests and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with print vendors regarding production schedules, billing, invoicing, and issue resolution.
  • Organize and maintain digital marketing assets, contracts, files, and calendars, and operational documentation.
  • Monitor monthly marketing expenditures, provide spend reporting, and own the credit request process for applicable lead-generation vendors.

Campaign & Project Management

  • Coordinate the execution and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives across departments.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing administration of marketing partnerships, ensuring partners are equipped with required branding, creative assets, and campaign resources.
  • Facilitate campaign setup, reporting, billing, performance tracking, and optimization in collaboration with internal team members including accounting and sales teams.
  • Manage affiliate and influencer program operations, including onboarding, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Evaluate and improve print directory campaign processes to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with website updates and search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives.
  • Oversee the accuracy and consistency of online business listings and brand profiles.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of marketing source data within CRM systems to support accurate reporting and attribution.
  • Support the development, implementation, and rollout of new marketing programs and initiatives.

Content & Brand Support

  • Contribute to the development, writing, and editing of marketing materials, including blogs, press releases, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and partners to source up-to-date marketing assets (photos, videos, manufacturer collateral).
  • Support quarterly audits of internal marketing materials and collateral for optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and standards.

Customer & Reputation Management

  • Manage customer communications across digital platforms and third-party review channels (e.g., Angi, BBB).
  • Support customer nurture and referral campaigns, including SMS, email drip, and direct mail programs.
  • Manage and monitor reputation management platforms (e.g., GatherUp, BirdEye): 
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for support issues
  • Ensure timely responses to reviews
  • Escalate or dispute negative reviews when appropriate
  • Research, source, and compare pricing for branded apparel and promotional items.
  • Manage inventory levels and procurement of marketing materials to support company initiatives and field teams.
  • Coordinate production, fulfillment, and distribution of marketing collateral and branded merchandise.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics, identify trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate campaign performance and business insights.
  • Coordinate the distribution of promotional materials, program updates, and marketing communications.

Community Engagement & Public Relations

  • Manage company community outreach initiatives, including sponsorships, charitable programs, service projects, Expo Home Heroes, galas, and special events.
  • Coordinate public relations activities such as: 
  • Award and accolades submissions
  • Company ratings and recognition tracking
  • Brand reputation initiatives
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and promote public relations events and philanthropic campaigns across appropriate channels.
  • Collaborate with and support the Expo Home team on additional projects, initiatives, and departmental priorities that contribute to company success.

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), marketing platforms, or project management tools
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Degree or background in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Working Conditions

  • Primarily based at our corporate headquarters, with occasional local travel 
  • Office setting with frequent coordination across departments and vendors 
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines.
  • Work is performed in a professional office settings requires extensive use of computers, data platforms, and communication tools.
  • The role involves sitting, typing, and viewing a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members across multiple departments, both in person and through digital channels.
  • May require occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Must be comfortable working with confidential information.
