Position Overview: 

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Palm House standards. This position requires leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on efficiency and quality. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team daily. 
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met. 
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff. 
  • Manage scheduling, attendance, and task assignments for housekeeping team. 
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. 
  • Communicate maintenance or guest issues to management promptly. 
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and chemical handling protocols. 
  • Address guest complaints or special requests professionally. 
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2–3 years supervisory experience in housekeeping. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Must be available full-time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to oversee team operations in multiple areas. 

Work Environment: 

  • Guest rooms, public areas, and team coordination in a hotel environment. 

Grooming Standards: 

  • Maintain clean, professional attire and appearance.
