HR Generalist I


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist I to join our Human Resources team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support various HR functions, including recruiting, payroll and compensation, benefits administration, and employee training. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and assisting with onboarding processes.

- Assist with payroll processing and compensation administration to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.

- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

- Oversee and maintain the Learning/Training module within the HRIS system, ensuring training records are accurate and up-to-date.

- Interpret and communicate company policies to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.

- Maintain and understand all modules within the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with governmental guidelines.

- Support the HR Manager in organizational growth initiatives, employee development, and change management processes.

- Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.



Requirements

 

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

- Prior experience in HR or related administrative roles is preferred.

- Strong understanding of HRIS systems and payroll/benefits administration.

- Paylocity experience in various modules of the HRIS is strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
