Dr Delphinium is seeking an organized, energetic, and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Human Resources department. The Human Resources Coordinator serves as the primary facilitator for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, training, and HR administration while providing direct support to the Human Resources Director. This position helps attract top talent, ensures a seamless onboarding experience, coordinates employee events and training initiatives, and assists in maintaining a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace culture across all company locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director.
- Backup Payroll Coordinator as needed.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions, including posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting phone interviews, pre-employment assessments and coordinating hiring activities.
- Prepare offer letters, background checks, onboarding documentation, and new hire paperwork.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and ensure all onboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain applicant tracking and recruiting metrics while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives including employee appreciation events, holiday celebrations, quarterly outings, recognition programs, birthdays/anniversaries, and other company activities.
- Assist with coordinating company training sessions both new-hire and ongoing, leadership development programs, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, HR compliance/reporting, and general HR administrative functions.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support the Human Resources Director with employee relations, special projects, policy updates, compliance initiatives, and department goals.
- Partner with department managers to ensure successful recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee engagement efforts.
- Coordinate and manage departmental QA programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, with recruiting and onboarding experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite and HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred.
