Seattle, WA | Volvo Cars | Luxury brand | Entry-level | Career path | No experience required | Veterans encouraged to apply | $21 - $23/hr
Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
At Volvo Cars Seattle, we represent a brand built on safety, thoughtful design, and a genuine respect for people. That standard extends to every corner of the operation -- including the service drive. The Service Porter plays an essential role in keeping that experience consistent, and for the right person, it's the beginning of a real career in automotive.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Move and stage vehicles between lot locations, service bays, and the service drive -- safely, efficiently, and with care for every vehicle in your hands
• Greet guests on the service drive with a friendly, professional presence -- you're often the first face they see
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in the service department -- every car returned to a guest should leave in better condition than it arrived
• Keep the service drive, lot, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for guests at all times
• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and staging to keep the workflow moving without delays
• Perform vehicle wash and detail duties as needed to support delivery readiness
• Support the service team with general tasks that keep the department operating at full speed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• No prior automotive experience required -- we will train the right person from day one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required
• Able to remain on your feet and stay active throughout your shift -- this is a physical, on-the-go role
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right every time
• Moves with a sense of urgency -- the service drive counts on you to keep things flowing
• Friendly and professional with guests -- a warm, composed presence on the drive matters
• A hospitality mindset -- every vehicle you touch belongs to a guest who trusts us with it
WHAT WE OFFER
• $21 - $23/hr
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• On-the-job training -- no experience necessary
