ICMS is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who is responsible for providing technical support, installing and maintaining hardware/software, manages networks, and troubleshooting computer issues for individuals and organizations. Key responsibilities include setting up and repairing computer systems, ensuring network functionality, implementing security measures, and assisting users with technical problems. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of various operating systems and IT tools.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and connectivity problems, and assist users with technical issues.
  • System and Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, networks (LAN/WAN), and servers.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Set up, repair, and perform minor repairs on hardware, and install and upgrade software, apps, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform data recovery, and conduct regular maintenance to ensure systems run smoothly.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security protocols, manage user access, and help maintain data integrity and disaster recovery plans.
  • User Training: Train employees on how to use new software, hardware, and network systems effectively.
Requirements

 

Bachelor's Degree is desired in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible IT project management experience.

· Must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

- Managing IT projects through the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout).

- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams of technical and business stakeholders.

- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans

- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.

- Tracking project performance and reporting status to management.

- Managing project documentation, requirements, and change control processes.

- Supporting implementation of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or business systems projects.

- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, security requirements, and governance standards.

· Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or enterprise systems.

· Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating IT network systems including performance, security and cost to develop plan and design for network modification and enhancement AND recommend solutions to enterprise IT requirements.

· Proven leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Possess effective management, organization and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.


Additional Qualifying Factors:

· As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.


Security Clearance:

It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.
