Function of Position
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close with assigned prospects and customers. Works within the in-house teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Focus on account coverage and prospecting with formal activity level requirements. Improve knowledge of business conditions, buying characteristics, and target markets. Provide concise and insightful reports to senior management team to aid in the decision-making process.

Primary Responsibilities
- Participates in the development of proposals, cost/budgeting tools, and T&Cs for assigned customer accounts.
- Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospective business problems, the effects of the problems, and company solutions to their problems.
- Assist with the development of the sales plan and forecast for assigned customer accounts.
- Monitors the competitive business climate, technology trends, and government activities in areas of the company's present and anticipated new products.
- Accountable for implementation of the sales plan.
- Delivery of sales presentations to external customers.
- Build solid business relationships at all levels with contacts at assigned customer accounts.
- Identifies potential new opportunities that fit the Company's plans for growth.
- Achieve target bookings and margin objectives by sales plan.
- Participates in the generation of proposal correspondence and follow ups with clients to ensure receipt of proposal and provides additional information as needed.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned accounts, including the use of applicable software to maintain accurate records to maximize account potential.
- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
- Keeps up to date on developments in the field by attending professional meetings, seminars, trade shows, etc.
- Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows effective presentation of company’s product line.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with key decision makers.
- Minimal travel will be required, but the ability to engage and build rapport with customers via telephone and email correspondence will be essential.
- Serves as Program Manager/Champion for various customer-specific programs (Samsung, Lam RPM, AMAT RTM, etc.)
- Handles customer escalations when issues require management involvement.
- Completes and submits periodic performance reports as required by assigned customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred. Education can be substituted for additional applicable work experience.
- 5-7 years’ experience in a customer service or sales supervisory position with proven track record, with at least two years’ experience in a similar industry preferred.
- Heavy phone/meeting experience in a transaction-oriented environment helpful.
- Existing network of contacts and relationships at Applied Materials and Lam Research preferred.
Salary Description
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00. + 25-30% Bonus Plan.
