Summary & Objective
Manage, log and review for approval and monitor the timely placement of orders for all memorial concerns (markers, monuments, vases, benches, portraits, emblems, memorial, crypt and niche engraving, etc.). Must be a Team Player. The duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating principles of Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Miami.
Essential Functions
- Places all in house orders for markers, monuments and all other memorial concerns with respective vendors, logging dates ordered, acknowledged, received and installed.
- Assists on yearly inventory counts of urns, memorial products, emblems, foundations, sample monuments, markers, emblems, urns
- Assists for inputting and making copies of all burials and transfers in and out of the cemetery and emailing the schedule to cemetery and maintenance staff.
- Assists in providing general information to the sales force daily
- Verify availability of inventory, reservation, SWAPS or temporary location
- Verify customer files
- Provides information via email, personally or over the phone when applicable
- Verifies license distribution list to given new licenses to counselors by verifying list for outstanding licenses
- Provides back-up support to the front desk receptionist, answering and transferring phone calls to Family Service Counselors
- Greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner and provide directions or guidance as needed

Other Duties
- Provides orientation to new employees as needed.
- Maintain your required license, certifications and mandatory skill updates.
- Comply with all policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
- May serve as an interim department leader depending on need
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have knowledge of computer office software
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
