Reports to: Production Manager
Position Summary: Produce job files as quickly and accurately as possible after a job has been awarded to PDM.

Responsibilities and Areas of Accountability:
- Support Steel Sales
- Participate in bid reviews/peer reviews
- Support bid calendar
- Provide VE assistance to clients
- Conceptual price, schedule, and scope development
- Support steel estimating processes and resources
- Subcontractor & supplier communications
- Perform steel estimating/take-offs
- Prepare proposals
- Support metals long range schedule
- Support project management/manage small projects
- Change Oder pricing support & estimate updates
- Lead project hand-offs
- Maintain bid results
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills:
- The ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Computer competency in Word, Excel and other basic programs. AutoCad experience is a plus, but not required.
Education: Associate Degree or better.
Experience: Two years in estimating for the construction industry.
