We're seeking a dependable Cafeteria Aide to assist with dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, meal delivery, and general food service support. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience as a Food Service Worker, Dietary Aide, Cafeteria Worker, Kitchen Assistant, Dishwasher, Restaurant Team Member, School Nutrition Worker, or Hospitality Associate.

Schedule

• Part-Time Every Other Saturday & Sunday 
• 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM 

What You'll Do

Kitchen Sanitation & Dishwashing

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. 
• Operate and monitor the commercial dishwasher to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation. 
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. 

Food Service Support

• Assist with meal service and the delivery of meals to classrooms. 
• Help receive, stock, and organize food and kitchen supplies. 
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen, serving, and dining areas. 
• Practice proper food handling, personal hygiene, and sanitation procedures. 

Team Support

• Assist the Nutrition Services team with daily kitchen operations. 
• Help with special events and additional duties as assigned. 
• Support efficient meal service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Three (3) years of institutional, commercial, school, healthcare, or restaurant food service experience required. 
• Continued education hours as required by KSDE. 
• Must have or obtain a Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Food Safety Basics Certificate within six months of hire. 
• Must successfully complete all required Heartspring orientation and training.
