Assistant Production Manager
TM International, the world’s largest manufacturer of temporary tattoos, is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Production Manager to support our daily manufacturing operations and contribute to achieving operational excellence. This pivotal role acts as the second-in-command within the production team, working closely with the Production Manager to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and timely delivery across all production lines. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for continuous improvement, a strong background in manufacturing, and a proven ability to lead teams while optimizing production performance through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards
- Lead and motivate production teams to ensure safety, compliance, and high performance
- Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Support training and development initiatives for production staff
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred

Must-have
– 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
– Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
– Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt preferred).
– Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives resulting in measurable operational improvements.
– Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Experience using production metrics and data to drive decision-making.
Strong plus
– Experience within the printing, packaging, flexographic, digital print, or similar manufacturing industries.
– Knowledge of color management, print production processes, and finishing operations.
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Graphic Communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
