We are a leading commercial pool management company seeking a highly organized and motivated Lifeguard Coordinator to oversee the recruitment, scheduling, and management of more than 400 seasonal lifeguards across multiple commercial swimming pool locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving scheduling challenges, and helping build a successful aquatics team. Prior aquatics experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and hire seasonal lifeguards before the summer pool season.
  • Coordinate staffing for more than 400 lifeguards at multiple facilities.
  • Create and maintain weekly lifeguard schedules, ensuring all pools are fully staffed.
  • Fill open shifts and respond quickly to call-outs and last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Communicate daily with lifeguards, pool managers, and clients regarding schedules and staffing needs.
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork.
  • Track lifeguard certifications, employment records, and required training.
  • Coordinate certification and recertification classes as needed.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure exceptional service for all clients.
  • Support employee engagement and help maintain a positive team culture throughout the swim season.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, staffing, recruiting, or operations is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during the busy summer season.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in aquatics, recreation, or seasonal staffing.
  • Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) Certification is a plus, but training and certification will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating large teams is highly desirable.

Salary Description
20 an hour to 50 an hour depending on experience
