New Communities is seeking a talented professional to serve as a Team Leader for Berwick Estates, a 37-bed assisted living home situated in the heart of charming downtown South Berwick and owned and operated by a Maine-based non-profit, New Communities, Inc. A combination of private pay and MaineCare (Medicaid) funding make it possible for our residents to age in place and stay with us independent of their financial situation. This full-time leadership position reports to the Assisted Living Administrator and has the primary responsibility of providing oversight of resident quality of care.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the quality of health care services for Assisted Living Services residents
- Ensuring resident records are accurate and up-to-date
- Oversight of medication administration processes and practices
- Oversight of MDS-RCA completion and case mix management
- Participation in the weekend on-call rotation
The Team Leader position is regularly scheduled during daytime hours Monday - Friday but at times, program needs would require flexibility. Pay range of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on certifications and experience

Team Leader Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
- Active driver's license
- 40-hour CRMA preferred
- Three years of experience in residential care setting, such as experience as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS), Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working with elderly/disabled population preferred.
- Expertise in Assisted Living Level IV regulations, Case Mix and MDS-RCA assessment management preferred
