Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, customer experience, and operational execution of their store. This role oversees all Sales, Service (Tech), and Operations functions. The General Manager is accountable for achieving sales and profit objectives as set by leadership while fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Mike's Bikes' mission, values, and customer service standards. Through effective leadership, coaching, and accountability, the General Manager ensures the location delivers exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth
Essential Job Functions
- Lead, develop, and retain high-performing Sales, Service, and Operations teams.
- Develop a thriving team by teaching, encouraging, and disciplining when necessary to ensure team members are performing to their fullest potential.
- Establish clear performance expectations and accountability through coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure effective two-way communication by conducting daily morning huddles, AM and TM check-ins, and participating on the GM call.
Business & Sales Leadership
- Manage store profit and loss performance, payroll, and labor planning to achieve financial objectives.
- Coordinate the flow of the sales floor to ensure your team is providing exceptional hospitality and care to all of our customers
- Monitor performance metrics, coach teams to improve results, and resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Partner with Purchasing and company leadership to maintain appropriate inventory levels and product assortment.
Service & Operations Leadership
- Partner with Tech Managers and to achieve goals related to productivity, quality, customer experience, and financial performance.
- Ensure operational excellence through accurate inventory management, process compliance, and timely execution of company initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement of service workflows, operational procedures, and team performance.
- Investigate and resolve significant inventory, operational, or customer service issues.
Operational Accountabilities
- Maintain store schedules at least two weeks in advance to provide proper coverage.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting as requested by leadership.
- Represent and uphold Mike's Bikes' values, culture, and customer service standards.
- Protect company assets and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, integrity, and sound judgment in all interactions.

HOURLY RANGE: A range from $73,500 - $80,000 annually dependent on qualifications. This position will also be eligible for a bonus based quarterly P&L targets
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.
