About the Role

Palm Springs Kia is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Service Assistant team member to help keep the service department organized, responsive, and running smoothly. This role supports a mix of service administration, light Business Development Center duties, customer outreach, loaner vehicle coordination, and document scanning.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, communicating with customers, and supporting a busy dealership team with a variety of daily tasks.


What You’ll Do

  • Support light BDC duties, including customer follow-up and appointment-related outreach. 
  • Make outbound calls, including cold calls, to support service opportunities and customer engagement. 
  • Assist with scanning, filing, and organizing service-related documents. 
  • Help manage loaner vehicles.
  • Provide general service assistant support to advisors and service department team members. 
  • Communicate professionally with customers by phone and in person. 
  • Help maintain accurate records and follow dealership processes for service documentation. 
  • Support daily service department workflow as needs change throughout the day. 
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to make outbound phone calls.
  • Basic computer skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail when scanning, organizing, and handling documents. 
  • Willingness to support a variety of service department tasks as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior dealership, automotive service, BDC, call center, or administrative experience. 
  • Experience handling customer follow-up, appointment scheduling, or service-related calls. 
Salary Description
$18/hour
