Description

EOA Technologies is seeking an Application Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will perform Linux server system administration functions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
  • Monitoring and patching/upgrades to Linux servers and AWS instances.
  • Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
  • Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
  • Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
  • Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure. 
  • Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
  • Document inventory changes.
Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • IAT Level 2 Certification
  • Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux server administration experience (within the last 3 years).
  • Proficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).
  • Proficient with Ansible. Minimum of 1 year of Ansible experience (within the last year).
  • Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and AWS instances.
  • Desired: Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools: Linux servers, AWS, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Scripting (bash, Python)
  • Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED, OR
  • Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree, OR
  • Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree, OR
  • Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree, OR
  • Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.
