Job Summary:
The Development Manager plays a critical role in advancing the mission of Jordan Valley Family Health Foundation by planning, implementing, and managing fundraising strategies and donor engagement initiatives. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with donors, supporting fundraising campaigns, coordinating events, and helping grow sustainable revenue streams to support healthcare access for underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Development Strategy
- Execute fundraising plans aligned with the Foundation’s strategic goals.
- Manage annual giving campaigns, including direct mail, digital appeals, and donor outreach.
- Support major gift strategies by identifying, cultivating, and stewarding donors.
Donor Relations & Stewardship
- Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and community donors.
- Oversee donor communication efforts, including acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and newsletters.
- Maintain accurate donor records and engagement tracking within the CRM system.
- Ensure timely and meaningful stewardship of all gifts.
Events & Community Engagement
- Plan and execute fundraising events, sponsorship initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
- Coordinate logistics, volunteers, and vendor relationships for events.
- Represent the Foundation at community events and networking opportunities.
Data & Reporting
- Track and analyze fundraising performance, donor trends, and campaign results.
- Prepare reports for leadership, board members, and stakeholders.
- Maintain data integrity within the donor database.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Executive Director, Foundation staff, and clinic leadership to align fundraising with organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to develop compelling donor messaging.
- Support board engagement in fundraising efforts.
- Promotes the education and development of students, interns, residents, apprentices, and other new staff by sharing expertise, responding to questions, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit advancement; Proven success in donor relations, annual giving, or event fundraising.
- Experience in healthcare or nonprofit organizations; Familiarity with local philanthropic and corporate giving communities preferred.
