 We are looking for an innovative Learning and Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the VP of EHS and HR, you will be the driving force behind the full lifecycle of our training and development programs. You will bridge the gap between organizational strategy and employee growth, ensuring our teams have the knowledge, skills, and resources to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape 


Essential Functions for a Learning and Development Specialist  will include but ar not limited to:

  • Identifies and assesses technical training needs within a company.
  • Develops, organizes, conducts and evaluates technical training programs, which may include training related to the use of computers, computer systems or applications, machinery, or other technical products.
  • Develops and maintains training manuals or other documentation.
  • Documents training, assesses effectiveness and progress, reports on progress, and makes changes to training as needed.
Requirements

    

Preferred Education/Qualifications and  Competencies/Skills :

  • Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. 
  • Bachelor's degree  in organizational psychology, engineering, or manufacturing related degree
  • 0 to 2 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience with Alchemy Training Suite (Manager, Player, Coach, and Playbook)
  •  Work Environment English language fluency – listening and comprehending, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Spanish Language Fluency is desired but not required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with all external and internal customers – displays passion and optimism, conflict resolution, professionalism, confidentiality, timely and appropriate response to questions or complaints, seeks feedback and consensus when possible, meets commitments, creates teambuilding, identifies and supports efforts to succeed.
  • Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
