The Overnight E-Kit Pharmacy Technician is responsible for managing the MedBank CR Station (Cubie Replenishment Station) and restocking medications for distribution to long-term care facilities. This role ensures compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and long-term pharmacy standards.


Hours: 10pm-8am- Monday-Friday

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person


Key Responsibilities

  • MedBank CR Station Management:
  • Restock medications used by facility MedBank Towers as needed.
  • Monitor and manage soon-to-expire medications.
  • Unload and process returned medications.
  • Prepare medications for delivery, including invoice creation.
  • Retrieve medications from the narcotic room for restocking at the CR Station.
  • Troubleshoot system or medication-related issues.
  • Communication & Coordination:
  • Notify the assigned consultant pharmacist of any issues or delays in medication replacement.
  • Assist consultant pharmacists in identifying and resolving missing medication concerns at facility MedBank Towers.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy technician certification (as required by state laws).


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day.
  • May be required to sit or stand for 7 to 10 hours per day and occasionally work extended hours.
  • Requires fine motor skills to operate office equipment and handle medications.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong visual acuity for reading fine print, distinguishing colors, and adjusting focus.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds for effective communication.
