JOB SUMMARY:
The Public Relations and Marketing position will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive image of the organization. This position will play a strong role in establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups by handling press releases and other media communications, responding to requests for information, placing ads, being a resource and example for staff in the correct way of communicating with the public.
This position will need a deep understanding of marketing and need excellent written and verbal communication skills. The actions of this position can strongly influence/set the stage for the overall patient experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and interest groups.
- Play a potential role in the informational development and release of every publicly available document, program and service.
- Writing press releases and other media communications to promote organization.
- Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public views of the organization's goals and accomplishments.
- Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence positive public opinion and promote services.
- Preparing and editing organizational publications, including employee newsletters or stockholders' reports, for internal and external audiences.
- Update and maintain Website/Facebook content and as well as other publicly viewed items.
- Conferring with managers to identify items, interests and providing design on publications for promotion of services.
- Research and order approved promotional items, maintain promotional materials and inventory.
- Assist with internal communication and employee satisfaction programs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in cost effective educational opportunities and staying current with marketing trends.
- May escort patients who need directional help to service locations

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Marketing/PR degree, preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- None, on the job training available.
- Marketing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing trends, Canva, advertising agencies, social media.
