Role Summary

We are a thriving outpatient mental health practice that strives to provide high-quality, empathetic, and thoughtful comprehensive psychiatric and therapeutic care. Our services include medication management, Spravato® (esketamine) therapy, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). We are seeking an experienced leader to own the operational and strategic success of our practice as it continues to grow.

As Practice Director, you will hold ultimate accountability for the performance, growth, and reputation of the practice — not simply managing day-to-day operations, but actively shaping the strategic direction the practice takes. You will be a core voice in strategy discussions and a driving force in executing on them, working proactively rather than reactively. This role also calls for close collaboration with directors and leaders across other ARC Health practices, sharing best practices and aligning on cross-practice initiatives. This is an on-site position at the heart of a dynamic, expanding organization, and your leadership will directly shape our path forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a key partner in organizational strategy conversations, bringing practice-level insight to broader planning discussions.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and drive execution across the practice.
  • Anticipate operational and market challenges proactively, rather than responding reactively to issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate regularly with directors of other ARC Health practices to share learnings, align on shared initiatives, and support organization-wide consistency and growth.

Operational Leadership & Cross-Functional Management

  • Own daily operations across administration, HR, IT, billing, and clinical support teams, ensuring the practice runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with providers to ensure optimal patient flow, resource allocation, and service delivery.
  • Maintain strong provider relations, addressing operational needs and supporting collaborative work environments.

Patient Intake & Experience

  • Own the patient intake process, from initial inquiry to first appointment, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive patient experience.
  • Monitor and optimize insurance verification and scheduling workflows.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive SOPs for all operational processes.
  • Train and hold staff accountable for consistent adherence to SOPs.
  • Regularly audit and update SOPs to reflect best practices and compliance requirements.

Performance Oversight & Auditing

  • Conduct performance audits for administrative and clinical support teams.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Own KPIs for operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and compliance, and drive continuous improvement against practice-wide goals.

Financial Management

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the practice.
  • Partner with billing staff to ensure accurate claims submission, denial management, and optimal revenue cycle performance.
  • Identify and implement cost-control strategies without compromising patient care quality.
  • Drive the practice toward defined revenue and growth targets.

Provider Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new providers.
  • Coordinate credentialing, orientation, and integration into clinic workflows.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, payer requirements, and Colorado state      regulations.
  • Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and payer reviews.

Other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: Base annual salary up to $100,000 paid bi-weekly, commensurate with experience, scope, and market location.
  • Performance Incentive: Annual bonus opportunities
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match up to 4%
  • Generous PTO & Paid Holidays
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents
  • HSA (with employer contribution) and FSA options to help manage healthcare and dependent care expenses
  • Employer-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential mental health and life support resources
Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (Master's preferred).3+ years of experience in operations management, HR administration, or healthcare leadership.
  • 5+      years of progressive healthcare management experience, including leadership of multi-provider, high-revenue practices.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to and executing on organizational strategy, not solely operational management.
  • Proven track record developing and implementing SOPs and performance monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership, provider relations, and financial oversight.
  • In-depth understanding of EHR systems, billing processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite or similar software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset, with a proactive, forward-looking approach to practice management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
