Kennelwood Pet Resorts is looking for a Pet Care Supervisor to join our leadership team! If you're passionate about animals, enjoy leading others, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

As a Pet Care Supervisor, you'll support the Store Manager in leading the daily operations of the resort while helping create an exceptional experience for both our guests and their pets. You'll coach and support the Pet Care team, ensure Kennelwood's standards of care are consistently met, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operation of the resort and help ensure efficient workflow. 
  • Lead, coach, and support Pet Care team members while fostering a positive team environment. 
  • Ensure every pet receives exceptional care and every guest receives outstanding customer service. 
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily operational priorities. 
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed. 
  • Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback to team members. 
  • Assist with onboarding and training new employees. 
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the facility. 
  • Address guest concerns professionally and partner with leadership to resolve issues. 
  • Lead by example by demonstrating Kennelwood's values and commitment to exceptional pet care. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the resort. 
Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Passion for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional pet care. 
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop others. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to lead by example. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. 
  • Ability to safely walk dogs of all sizes. 
  • Comfortable working around pet hair, dander, cleaning products, and occasional outdoor conditions. 
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform physically active work throughout the day.
