Description

Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting and administering all aspects of the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with federal, state and company policies and procedures. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership by managing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, HRIS administration, employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Integrate and maintain Paylocity services and initiatives, ensuring all modules are properly configured, tested and implemented from origination through completion. 
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within the HRIS. 
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics. 
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all company positions, to include creating and posting job ads across multiple platforms, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks and background screening processes, and preparing offer letters and employment documentation. 
  • Develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates. 
  • Participate in career fairs and other recruiting events as needed. 
  • Conduct new employee orientation and benefits presentations. 
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment from planning through implementation, to include coordinating with insurance and benefit vendors to resolve issues. 
  • Perform pre-payroll audits to verify employee information, time records, benefit deductions, PTO balances, and payroll changes. 
  • Assist supervisors with coordination of employee reviews and maintaining review schedules and documentation. 
  • Support implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, procedures, and HR forms. 
  • Track completion of mandatory training requirements across the company. 
  • Support leadership development initiatives and prepare reports as needed. 
  • Maintain personnel files and HR documentation. 
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews. 
  • Coordinate employee announcements and HR communications. 
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Experience 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources experience required. 
  • Experience administering HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity. 
  • Experience working in a multi-location organization preferred.

Salary Description
$60,000-$70,000/year
