The Opportunity
Catalis is looking for a Project Manager to own client projects from kickoff to go-live, keeping scope, timeline, and revenue on track. You'll serve as the bridge between clients, internal teams, and our product organization — managing governance, resourcing, and risk across multiple concurrent engagements.
You'll guide clients toward best practices while building the kind of trust that keeps them coming back. You'll also help strengthen our delivery team, closing knowledge gaps and surfacing product needs to leadership. If you thrive on structure and relationships in equal measure, this role offers real ownership — with up to 50% travel to be where your clients need you.
This position is based remotely in the United States and requires up to 50% of travel within USA.
What you Will do
- Build strong relationships with client end users and actively maintain partnerships with project stakeholders
- Provide regular, accurate updates to your project manager and in the monthly professional services meeting
- Identify and escalate risks/challenges, raising them to Director/Manager with mitigation plans
- Establish and maintain project governance: project plans, communication plans, risk logs, RACI charts, and issues logs
- Approve and maintain time sheets in Kantata; review baselines and ensure accurate revenue forecasts for each project
- Align and adjust resources across all projects, coordinating shared services as needed
- Speak to and help maintain scope with customers, keeping projects within timeline
- Support the shift to standard system verbiage within the client's organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system designs and implementations align with business requirements and client contracts
- Report professional services needs to product and development departments, sharing with Director/Manager to help prioritize
- Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring the right internal individuals are on calls
- Identify team weaknesses and close gaps through knowledge transfers, LMS training, and shadowing client sessions
- Delegate tasks effectively and follow up on completion in a timely manner
- Send weekly stakeholder update emails covering completed items, at-risk items, missed deadlines, mitigation plans, and upcoming decisions
- Support the Catalis Product Management enhancement request and customer feedback process
What you Will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of experience
- Ability to build strong relationships with client end users
- Discipline to complete and submit accurate work logs/time daily
- Deep knowledge of standard project schedules, shared services coordination, and core product capabilities
- Understanding of the statement of work and how to deliver it to the customer
- Ability to keep clients within scope and within the project timeline
- Understanding of how requirements and workflows are built, and how to guide customers on best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with project governance tools/practices (project plans, RACI, risk logs, etc.)
- Ability to mentor and develop team members' knowledge and skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%

- CAPM
- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM)
