This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys providing high-quality emergency care while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule: up to Full-time hours | 12-hour shifts
Contract Length: Up to 1 year with additional extension options available

What You'll Do
- Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions and acuity levels.
- Perform patient evaluations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage emergency department patients from initial assessment through disposition.
- Stabilize patients experiencing acute illness or injury.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory results, and imaging studies.
- Provide patient and family communication regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

- Credentialing process may take up to 90 days

Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred)
- Valid medical license from any U.S. state accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Current DEA registration
- Active ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Prior locum tenens and/or IHS experience preferred
