What You'll Do
Every day is different. You'll install, repair, maintain, and improve the equipment that keeps our operation running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Weld, fabricate, and repair piping, conveyor systems, and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
- Replace worn components and complete mechanical repairs safely and efficiently
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, torches, manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders
- Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical issues before they become major problems
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work overtime or weekends as needed to support production
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or Mechanical Maintenance Technician
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Experience with conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
- Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read measuring devices and use a variety of hand and power tools
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
- Commitment to working safely every day
- Valid driver's license
Bonus Skills
- Welding certification
- Industrial or aggregate experience
- Rigging experience
- Hydraulic or pneumatic systems knowledge
Work Environment
This is a hands-on position working both indoors and outdoors in an active industrial environment.
You should be comfortable:
- Working around heavy equipment and moving machinery
- Working in varying weather conditions
- Climbing ladders and working at heights
- Lifting up to 90 pounds
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and performing physically demanding work throughout the day
