Supervisor Responsibilities
This position provides supervisory oversight of the positions noted above.
Supervisor oversight includes:
• Onboarding: Provide training and modeling for Maintenance Specialists.
• Employee Development: Ensure all direct reports meet training guidelines, and continue to develop them professionally with appropriate training opportunities and experiences
• Employee Retention: Ensure direct reports are utilizing time off to avoid burnout; seek to understand development goals of direct reports to advocate for their professional development
• Performance Evaluation: Complete collaborative evaluations for all direct reports on a regular basis
Major Responsibilities / Activities –
• Identify and prioritize of maintenance and repair needs for all PWASH facilities.
• Perform periodic inspections of buildings and grounds and report findings and recommendations.
• Maintain records showing the maintenance and repair activities performed. • Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program for the facilities and the heating/cooling systems.
• Perform and delegate maintenance and repair activities on buildings and equipment that 1) is within your personal expertise, 2) has been approved, and 3) can be done more effectively than sub-contracting the work.
• Identify the scope of work to be performed by sub-contractors, prepare estimates, and review their quotes and proposals.
• Represent PWASH's interests by monitoring work performed by sub-contractors.

Travel
Travel is not a regular part of this position; however, it may be necessary at times for trainings, meetings, residents’ needs, and other activities.
Physical and Visual Acuity Requirements
The physical requirement of this position is defined as Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The visual acuity requirements needed to perform this position include having visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general labor, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.).

Required Education and Experience
• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Expertise in wide range of maintenance matters and facility upkeep.
• Positive attitude interacting with students and staff Preferred Education and Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in field or related field
