Position Summary
The Senior Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations and owns the monthly close process, ensuring accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP. This role partners with Accounting Manager and Controller to maintain financial integrity, support audits, and contribute to process improvement initiatives as the organization scales.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities
• Own month-end close
• Prepare journal entries & reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Support AR & AP operations
• Ensure GAAP compliance
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries, including but not limited to month-end accruals, prepaid amortization, revenue adjustments, payroll allocations, Inventory and fixed assets
• Perform account reconciliations, including but not limited to bank, accounts receivable, prepaid, inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable and deferred revenue, debt and equity
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including billing review and vendor reconciliations
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audits, reviews, and internal controls
• Assist with purchase accounting, system integrations, and accounting clean-up as needed
• Perform initial P&L review including margin and variance analysis, determining appropriate actions on findings
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation
• Adheres to Entech’s HIPAA and Information Security Policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
Experience
• 2–3 years of accounting and general ledger experience
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciliations (preferred)
• ERP or accounting system experience (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) (preferred)
Certifications and Licenses
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
