Are you passionate about helping individuals living with mental illness achieve greater independence and stability? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner (ARMHS) to provide community-based rehabilitative services to adults on their recovery journey.
In this role, you will work directly with clients in their homes and communities, helping them develop skills, manage symptoms, and achieve person-centered goals that improve their quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) to adult clients
- Teach and reinforce skills through coaching, modeling, and guidance
- Complete Functional Assessments and develop Individual Treatment Plans
- Support clients in improving daily living, social, coping, and independent living skills
- Build professional, respectful, and culturally responsive relationships
- Travel throughout the community to meet clients in home and community settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records in compliance with DHS Rule 245I standards
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with treatment teams and community providers to support client success

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option 1
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field and:
- 2,000 hours of supervised experience providing services to individuals with mental illness; or
- Fluency in a qualifying non-English language, completion of 40 hours of mental health services training, and weekly clinical supervision until 2,000 hours are obtained.
Or Option 2
- 4,000 hours of experience providing services to persons with mental illness.
Or Option 3
- Current graduate student in a behavioral science or related field completing an approved clinical placement.
Or Option 4
- Master's degree or higher in a behavioral science or related field.
