Supervises students at recess, lunchtime and/or playtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.

1. Circulates and supervises throughout the assigned area of supervision. Maintains safe environment for students at all times.
2. Insures students are orderly and acting appropriately.
3. Assists in playground clean-up.
4. Interacts with students in a positive fashion to maintain order and provide assistance when needed.
5. Organizes group games and activities as needed.
6. Assumes responsibility for play equipment.
7. Directs movement of students to and from playground, lunchroom and classrooms in a safe and organized manner.
8. Assess playground for security and conditions of equipment, provides remedies as appropriate and reports concerns to principal.
9. Reports disciplinary and other concerns to the Supervisor and/or classroom teacher.
10. Provides assistance for students requiring additional Social/Emotional guidance.
11. Perform other work and job-related duties as assigned.
12. Responds to emergency situation (injured students, fights, etc) for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
13. Evaluates student injuries, determines course of action. Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to supervisor.
14. Complies with applicable Paideia Academy, state, local and federal laws, rules and regulations.
15. Professionally represents the school and Paideia Corporation in interactions with parents, community, staff and students.
16. Attends work regularly and is punctual.

• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience working with children ages 5 through 13 years old
• Experience supervising outdoor games
• Problem solving ability
