Job Details:

Legacy Technologies LLC dba PacAero is seeking a Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that supports daily manufacturing operations and escalates quality issues to the Quality Lead as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections using standard inspection methods and metrology tools
  • Conduct thorough examinations of materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications
  • Review, handle, and file material certifications
  • Operate, run programs, and assist with troubleshooting vision inspection systems
  • Draft, document, and file nonconformance reports and inspection records
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation in accordance with controlled procedures
  • Communicate nonconformances and inspection findings to the Quality Lead
  • Support implementation and continual improvement of quality control procedures
  • Identify equipment issues, measurement discrepancies, and product defects
  • Participate in routine visual inspections and audits as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment



Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
  • Basic math skills and ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
  • Values must align with established team culture and contribute to team camaraderie.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or a related manufacturing role
  • Hands-on experience with metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, height indicators, etc.)
  • Experience working with vision inspection systems
  • Familiarity with nonconformance reporting and document control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Salary Description
$22.00 / hour
