Yearly Salary Range: $95,000 to $160,000

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with the Plant Manager, Segment General Manager, and plant leadership as a trusted financial advisor to drive operational and financial performance
- Lead, develop, and mentor the plant accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with Operations to improve labor, material, and overhead utilization
- Develop, monitor, and communicate key financial and operational KPIs including EBITDA, gross margin, inventory turns, labor efficiency, and cash flow
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commercial, and HR to improve business performance
- Provide timely and accurate financial information and performance measurements to management (month-end close, annual close, ad hoc reporting)
- Evaluate capital investments, customer profitability, pricing strategies, and business cases to support strategic decision-making
- Provide direction and process support for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
- Assist in the quarterly forecast and annual budget process
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual work through standardization
- Lead standard costing, product costing, and cost accounting activities
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Support the annual physical inventory, annual financial audit, and tax preparation activities, including sales & use tax returns
- Other duties as assigned
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems such as Syteline, Vena, Salesforce, and ProcessMaker preferred
- Develop and mentor accounting staff
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed employee expectations
- Work independently, strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to lead and work on cross-functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time
- Computer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and concepts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or other complex production environments
- Experience supporting plant operations in a manufacturing organization
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills
- Proven ability to influence leaders using financial data
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship and must be an eligible U.S. Person
- CPA/MBA a plus
