Caladwich Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Distribution Project Manager to support Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution operations at a DLA Distribution Center. The Distribution Project Manager serves as the Contractor's senior on-site representative, providing overall leadership, operational oversight, and contract management for warehouse and distribution operations supporting the Department of Defense.
This position offers the opportunity to lead mission-critical logistics operations that directly sustain military readiness by ensuring efficient, compliant, and audit-ready distribution services across receiving, warehousing, inventory, transportation, and customer support functions.

Core responsibilities
· Serve as the Contractor's primary point of contact with the Government, exercising full authority over all contract performance matters.
· Lead and oversee all warehouse and distribution center operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of contract requirements.
· Manage personnel, operational resources, budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance to achieve mission objectives.
· Monitor operational performance, workload trends, and key performance indicators while implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with DLA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Control Plans, internal controls, audit readiness requirements, and regulatory guidance.
· Coordinate with Government leadership, customers, and stakeholders to resolve operational issues, support mission priorities, and maintain customer satisfaction.
· Lead contingency operations, workforce planning, surge support, and transition activities to ensure uninterrupted mission execution.
Operational Support
· Direct warehouse operations supporting receiving, storage, inventory management, packaging, shipping, transportation, and distribution services.
· Oversee implementation and effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other Government information systems.
· Ensure inventory accuracy, property accountability, quality assurance, and operational compliance across all functional areas.
· Review operational metrics, audit findings, and production reports to identify risks and improve organizational performance.
· Support workforce development through training, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management.
· Manage required contract deliverables, Government reports, meetings, and customer service initiatives.
· Coordinate emergency response, continuity of operations, workload surges, and special projects in support of DLA Distribution missions.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
o Equivalent combination of education and ten (10) years of Government or private-sector experience may be substituted.
· Minimum three (3) years of management experience leading logistics, warehouse, distribution, or large-scale operational programs.
· Demonstrated experience managing projects, contracts, personnel, budgets, and operational resources.
· Experience leading warehouse or supply chain operations utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or equivalent automated logistics systems.
· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, quality management, and federal logistics operations.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing Government leadership and customers.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and automated logistics management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
· Experience supporting DLA Distribution, Department of Defense logistics, or large federal supply chain operations.
· Experience managing performance-based federal service contracts.

· Must be able to pass background investigations including a FBI fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) adjudication.
