Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $24.00/hr. or possibly higher DOE
Your Purpose will be:
This person will assist in the coordination and completion of assigned Credit Union projects, including establishing the base outline, planning priorities, deadlines, organization, monitoring, and work to be done with the appropriate staff and committees to research, develop, test, train and implement agreed upon policies and procedures. These policies and procedures should support CU departments operationally by providing structure, direction, and efficiencies. What you’ll do:
- Assists project teams in defining, planning, and implementing projects to achieve specific business goals and objectives
- Assists in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules
- Coordinates and facilitates regular team meetings, stakeholder interviews and follow-up sessions
- Assist in the research, creation, and implementation of project tools, templates, and procedures
- Assists in updating and reporting project plans, status, and schedules
- Ensures proper hand off to appropriate department once project is complete
- Recommends new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery
- Helps to ensure all changes and modifications are compliant with internal and regulatory changes
- Assist with cross training staff
- Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied
- Files and organizes miscellaneous project documents/materials
- Other duties as assigned
- Assists in miscellaneous project tasks

The experience you need to succeed:
- One to two years of related experience in Project Management.
- Prior experience in presenting complex topics to both internal and external project partners.
- Confidence in facilitating group discussions on projects and updates to stakeholders, including C-suite executives. This may occasionally be on short notice.
- Must be outgoing, timely, and responsible, with the ability to take ownership of multiple projects at once.
- Familiarity with financial banking operations, referred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Proficiencies with Microsoft Office applications. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Works primarily in a hybrid office environment, with frequent trips into field environment locations. This includes but is not limited to various outdoor and indoor climates, public venues, and driving conditions. (Hybrid and work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
