Description of duties and responsibilities
essential functions: Essential functions of this position are listed below. This position may include additional functions related to the scope of services as needed and/or assigned by supervisor.
1. Provide supervision and performance monitoring of program Clinical Therapists.
2. Monitor and assist in program compliance with mandated standards for facility operation as dictated by licensing agencies.
3. Conduct clinical interviews with all new admissions in order to determine appropriateness of Intensive Mental Health services as is appropriate, and for the purpose of making specific treatment recommendations.
4. Complete certification of treatment forms on all youth .
5. Provide weekly clinical supervision, maintaining a system of documentation for such, with each Clinical Therapist.
6. Provide advanced clinical services to targeted specialized populations.
7. Provide leadership to ongoing campus clinical program development, service delivery, and evaluation.
8. Provide leadership in clinical-based training areas.
9. Coordinate campus-wide treatment specific programs.
10. Develop competency-based training programs for all staff.
11. Serve as a member of the facility management team.
12. Serve as clinical resource/consultant to all program staff.
13. Provide crisis interventions both personally or by directing staff as required.
The successful applicant must have a Masters degree in social work, counseling, or other related social science field. State of Florida license in field(s) of specialty is required. Experience in providing individual, group, and family counseling with adolescents is required. Experience in supervision of clinical staff, program development, and staff training is preferred. Meet criminal background check and drug screening per state requirement.
