Job Overview

 

The Investor Relations Associate manages the day-to-day communications with both current investors and prospective investors moving through our marketing funnel. The position delivers an exceptional, high-touch service experience that encourages existing investors to reinvest, and nurtures prospective investors to help them seamlessly complete their initial investments. This is a highly visible, measurable position where your clear communication skills–both over the phone and via email–will directly impact business results. 


The ideal candidate is incredibly well-spoken on the phone and possesses sharp, professional, and persuasive writing skills for email correspondence.  They will have a natural ability to build rapport and handle investor inquiries with high emotional intelligence and diplomacy and thrive in an environment where efforts are tracked and measured, using metrics and KPIs as a tool for personal and team growth.  The Investor Relations Associate doesn't let things fall through the cracks, following up is their second nature, and their attention to detail is high. 


Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume, professional phone calls and send tailored emails to prospective investors currently in the marketing funnel to answer any questions they may have, and help guide them through the investment process.
  • Identify and resolve friction points for prospective investors, leveling up complex questions to leadership about our offerings to help investors confidently finalize their commitments.
  • Meticulously document all interactions, follow-ups, and investor statuses within our CRM. Your success will be directly measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, reinvestment rates, and response times.
Requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in investor relations, financial services, inside sales, or a high-touch customer success role.
  • Proven track record of managing a pipeline or funnel of clients/investors.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or industry-specific investor portals).
  • Strong understanding of (or an eager willingness to quickly learn) investment structures and financial terminology.
