ASAHI BEER USA | OCTOPI BREWING

Waunakee, Wisconsin

PRODUCTION SCHEDULER

The Behind-the-Scenes Brain Keeping Our Beer on Schedule

Full-Time

ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING

Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Supply Chain team keeps the entire operation — from raw ingredients to finished cans — running on schedule.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Octopi scales production for Asahi Super Dry alongside our contract clients, we need a Production Scheduler who can keep every department — cellar, packaging, procurement, and our client-facing teams — moving in sync.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT

• Sit at the center of the entire production operation — cellar, packaging, procurement, and client teams all rely on your schedule

• High-visibility role with real ownership over how efficiently we run

• Work directly with contract clients and grow your supply chain expertise in a brewing environment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and adjust master production schedules based on demand, forecasts, and inventory targets

• Coordinate across cellar, packaging, procurement, and client teams to keep production running efficiently

• Plan weekly yeast pitches, manage yeast generations, and keep ordering on track

• Jump in with solutions when production hits a snag — equipment issues, packaging delays, last-minute changes

• Keep stakeholders across departments in the loop on schedule changes and priorities

WHAT YOU BRING

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of production scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience

• Strong Excel skills, with experience using ERP, MRP, or production scheduling systems

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor's degree related to supply chain

• Experience in beverage, food, CPG, contract manufacturing, or brewery operations

BENEFITS & PERKS

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage — effective the 1st of the month after 30 days

• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance

• 401(k) with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%

• 120 hours of PTO annually, plus 9 paid holidays

• A free beer after shift, because you earned it

PAY

• Pay: $60,000 annually

Full-time, exempt
