Maintenance Work Process Lead

SUMMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Maintenance Work Process Lead is responsible for driving standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement of maintenance work processes. This role ensures effective planning, scheduling, execution, and documentation of maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe plant operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead      the development, implementation, and optimization of maintenance work      processes (planning, scheduling, execution, and closure).
  • Standardize      workflows and ensure consistent use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance      Management System).
  • Monitor      maintenance KPIs (e.g., schedule compliance, backlog, wrench time) and      drive performance improvement.
  • Identify      process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase      efficiency and reliability.
  • Support      preventive and predictive maintenance programs by ensuring proper      execution and follow-up.
  • Facilitate      root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure corrective actions are implemented      and sustained.
  • Train      and coach maintenance personnel on work management best practices and      system usage.
  • Maintain      accurate documentation, procedures, and reporting related to maintenance      activities.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s      degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or      related field.
  • 5+      years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial      environment
  • Strong      knowledge of maintenance planning/scheduling and CMMS systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong      analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge      of safety and regulatory standards (MSHA, PSM preferred for chemical      plants)

POST OFFER/ACCEPTANCE

  • Must successfully complete Atalco Gramercy’s required drug screening      and physical examination.
  • TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required      prior to offer acceptance; MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration)      training to be completed upon hire.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Ability to read, analyze and interpret information. Ability to write reports and basics business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
