COMPENSATION RANGE
Pay Range: $35.00 / hour
Shift: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with required rest and meal breaks. Full time, non-exempt.
JOB SUMMARY
Since 1970, Great Floors has grown into a thriving organization with retail, commercial, and builder showrooms positioned across the Pacific Northwest. Great Floors is a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group. Artisan Design Group (ADG). The Installation Supervisor, to support our Meridian ID, location. The Installation Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily inventory management, and warehouse performance. This position works closely with warehouse associates, sales teams, and leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Success in this role means ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting operational efficiency, and delivering a high level of service to both internal and external customers. This role requires strong leadership, organization, communication skills, and knowledge of flooring operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and maintain installation schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Supervise and support installation teams, assigning work and monitoring productivity and performance.
- Ensure installers and subcontractors comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress and address issues that may impact project completion.
- Recruit, evaluate, and manage qualified subcontractors and installation personnel.
- Verify that all required permits, contracts and certifications, and subcontractor documentation are complete and current.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, sales staff, vendors and management throughout the installation process.
- Ensure all installation work meets company specifications, manufacturer requirements, and customer expectations.
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment for all installation personnel.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Effective Communication Skills to direct, coordinate, and control the activities of personnel and the installation process.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills on the phone and face-to-face to communicate with all customers, installers, associates and other store personnel.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while working under deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of flooring installation materials, tools, and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the flooring, construction, remodeling, or home improvement industry.
- OSHA or other safety-related training or certifications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Frequently required to stand for extended periods and move throughout the warehouse or job site to access materials and equipment.
- Positioning: Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequently handles and moves materials using proper techniques and equipment.
- Vision: Ability to visually inspect materials and identify quality differences.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
- Warehouse/Facility: Work is performed in a warehouse and shop environment with exposure to non-climate-controlled conditions (heat and cold), moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels.
- Job Site/Field: May require work at job sites with exposure to outdoor conditions, seasonal weather, and varying terrain.
- Operational Demands: Role may require meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment to support operational needs.
- Safety: Requires adherence to all safety policies and use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
