The Role:

Indie Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Paid Media Specialist to lead the hands-on execution, management, and optimization of paid media campaigns across key digital platforms.


This role is highly execution-focused and ideal for a media practitioner who thrives in-platform, owns day-to-day campaign performance, and ensures accuracy across setup, pacing, testing, and optimization within paid search and paid social channels. With a strong analytical mindset, the Paid Media Specialist evaluates performance data to drive continuous improvement and efficiency, working across teams to ensure flawless execution, accurate reporting, and strategic alignment with business goals.


Key Responsibilities


Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan, build, and manage paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Translate business goals and strategic direction into actionable paid media tactics
  • Execute campaign setup, launches, optimizations, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Manage budgets, pacing, and platform-level reporting to ensure efficient media spend

Optimization & Reporting

  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify insights and optimization opportunities
  • Develop audience strategies, keyword lists, ad copy variations, creative briefs, and testing frameworks
  • Prepare clear, client-ready performance summaries and insights
  • Stay current on platform updates, media trends, and best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate strategy, performance, and recommendations clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Maintain strong organization across campaign documentation, timelines, and reporting


Requirements


  • 3–4 years of hands-on paid media experience, with a strong focus on paid social and/or paid search
  • Proven experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations
  • Comfortable working independently within defined scopes and timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in data analysis; familiarity with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools is a plus
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

Contract Details

  • Contract/Part-time: 20 hours/week
