We are seeking a highly motivated Pre-employment Specialist to play an essential role within our HR department, working across departments. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Technical Recruiting to initiate background checks (BG), drug tests (DT), motor vehicle reports (MVR), and any additional required pre-employment screenings prior to technician deployment.
- Process onboarding documentation within our ATS, HRIS, and third-party platforms, including new hire paperwork, Form I-9 completion, and ITAR pre-certification, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain all active pre-employment processes, including BG/DT/MVR results, onboarding documentation, and Form I-9 completion throughout the workday to ensure timely progress toward deployment.
- Support rapid deployment timelines by prioritizing urgent screenings and onboarding requirements.
- Communicate effectively with technicians throughout the pre-employment process via phone, text, and email, providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and addressing delays or time-sensitive concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve pre-employment issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
- 1–2+ years of experience in pre-employment, onboarding, recruiting coordination, HR administration, or a related field preferred.
- General understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment-related documentation.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and technicians.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn ATS, HRIS, and third-party vendor platforms, including Paylocity, UKG, and Bullhorn.
