What Success Looks Like
- Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll
- Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids
- Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day
- Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must meet ONE of the following qualification options:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
- A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
- Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
- Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
