About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Rental Asset Analyst to support the performance, utilization, profitability, and reporting of our rental asset portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and experienced using AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

  • Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based reporting models, dashboards, trackers, and performance summaries.
  • Work with large datasets from ERP, rental management, finance, CRM, telematics, or other operational systems to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use AI tools and data-analysis platforms to clean, classify, summarize, and interpret large volumes of rental asset data efficiently and accurately.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting on portfolio performance, asset returns, underutilized equipment, revenue leakage, and capital allocation.
  • Develop insights that help improve rental pricing, portfolio mix, asset redeployment, maintenance planning, and investment decisions.
  • Partner with operations and finance teams to investigate variances, reconcile data, validate assumptions, and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Create ad hoc analyses for leadership, including asset profitability, customer rental behavior, geographic demand, replacement timing, and disposal recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, streamline manual processes, and improve data quality.
  • Present findings clearly to stakeholders, translating complex analysis into practical business recommendations.
