Requirements

Summary:

Member of the HR Team. Actively lead, support and facilitate the overall training and development strategy for employees. Support leaders and supervisors to proactively participate in training and development using a behavioral management approach (BMT). Influence and guide the development of a high-performance workplace culture that motivates and retains employees.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments and design, develop, facilitate, and deliver training programs aligned with identified learning priorities.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement of Revere’s Production Learning and development Process
  • Develop and maintain On-the-Job Training and engagement plans in partnership with supervisors, Safety, Quality, and other support departments to ensure position-specific training needs are met.
  • Ensure employee skills, knowledge, and competencies align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
  • Partner with supervisors and leaders to support employee development, coaching, and performance improvement.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and measure return on investment (ROI) to guide future initiatives
  • Assists in other aspects of the Learning and Development Department 
  • Manage Revere’s learning management system
  • Write documents that help augment the training processes
  • Leadership Development
  • Working knowledge of the quality management system
  • Present on topics during orientations
  • Quarterly department strategic planning
  • Leverage local community resources
  • Develop relations with local colleges, high schools and BOCES by attending job fairs and supporting requests for tours of our facility
  • Works with Workforce development and Department of Labor to secure training grants for new hires, apprentices and displaced workers.
  • Applies community programs and resources that enhance Revere’s Machine Operator and Skilled Trade program


Qualifications:

  

  • The successful candidate must have experience in building relationships to improve performance, and a strong record of collaboration.
  • The ability to describe their experiences using effective communication.
  • Direct experience creating work environments where others can succeed is preferred.
  • Must possess a keen interest or a working knowledge of Behavior science.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge of Document Control Systems is required.
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Highly organized

  • While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near mechanical parts.
  • May be exposed to wet or humid conditions.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.
  • May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.


Education / Training:


Minimum:

  • 2 Year Degree in related field or equivalent


Preferred:

  • 4-year degree (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Have or willing to work towards the following

*Behavioral Management Techniques (BMT)

*OSHA 10 Certification.
