Adult Community Engagement Manager
(Full-Time)
The Glenview Public Library is seeking an energetic, curious, and community-minded leader to serve as our Adult Community Engagement Manager. This position is ideal for someone who is excited by the question, “What does our community need next, and how can the Library help make it happen?”
The Adult Community Engagement Manager leads a talented team responsible for creating engaging adult programs, building meaningful community partnerships, connecting patrons with Library services both inside and outside the building, and helping shape business services that support local entrepreneurs, professionals, jobseekers, and the broader Glenview business community.
This is a highly collaborative leadership role. The Adult Community Engagement Manager supervises, supports, and develops the Adult Community Engagement Team while helping shape programming, outreach, business services, and partnerships that reflect the Library’s strategic goals and the evolving needs of the Glenview community. The manager also works closely with the Adult Services Collection Manager and the Deputy Director of Library Services to provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for the Adult Services Department.
The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $72,500 annually.

Education/Experience/Qualifications
· Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited school
· Minimum three years professional library experience
· One-two years supervisory experience preferred
