Purpose of Function:

This function sets up and operates the Lathes and run parts according to engineering drawings. The function is also responsible for certification

Main Tasks/Responsibilities/Authorities:

Main Tasks:

• Review production orders to verify correct specifications
• Set up lathe and operate per specifications
• Maintain all logs
• Manage puck inventory
• Quality control for pucks

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
2. Alert Manager of any repair needs of other areas of concern with regard to the facility
3. Assist in manufacturing processes as directed
4. Perform a variety of tasks to support the day to day operations of the business

Function Requirements: (education, experience, competences, etc)

The Lathe technician should have a high school degree or equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing technician role, following work instructions and using a lathe is required.
