Key Accountabilities:

• Lead by example to support owners in identifying, sourcing and submitting commercial bid opportunities 
• Facilitate ongoing coaching, support and guidance for business owners, installers, and technicians through commercial bid process including bid assessment, submission best practices and full project management of a commercial project 
• Assist owners with problem solving installation activities for interior and exterior glazing systems 
• Provide guidance to problem solve scope, labor or financial challenges during project implementation  
• Collaborate with owners reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other documentations to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects 
• Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors’ costs, to determine project expenses 
• Work with vendors and Director of Field Operations to ensure all bid documents are submitted accurately and on time 
• Own all aspects of the Commercial Playbook and implementation by owners 
• Full Utilization of WinBidPro, Blue Beam, Construct Connect, Guthrie AI and other pertinent commercial bidding software tools including AI technology 

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE: glazing/glass experience 
• Minimum of five years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience 
• Strong knowledge of glass and glazing materials, techniques, and industry best practices 
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite In-field troubleshooting and independent decision-making for successful outcomes 
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule for glass installation projects 
• Collaborative approach for continued teamwork 
• Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools 
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry 
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure 
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: 

• Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
• Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
