Description

EQUIPPS is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support warehouse and jobsite operations. This role is responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe delivery and pickup of materials and equipment.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Logistics Manager to coordinate delivery of equipment to fulfill customer orders within 48 hours 
  • Verify delivery contents against orders and confirm accuracy prior to departure
  • Maintain delivery logs, records, and documentation
  • Communicate any delivery issues, delays, or damaged materials to management 
  • Assist with warehouse organization, inventory, and general upkeep as needed 
  • Follow all company safety policies and DOT/OSHA regulations
  • Perform operational checks on vehicle prior to delivery and upon return from job.
  • Monitor, report and document any missing, lost, or damaged inventory to management
  • Look for efficiencies in all operational processes, implement and train once agreed upon 


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid driver’s license required 
  • Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety
  • Experience operating trucks, vans, or delivery vehicles
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings and evenings, to meet project needs
  • Work may be performed in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
  • Frequent physical activity includes standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling and sitting for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other regulations applicable to warehouse and distribution operations
  • Applies a customer-centric mindset to all work efforts.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Competent with computers, email, and smartphone. Willingness to learn systems proprietary to Equipps, such as inventory and warehouse management software. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with varying groups internally and externally.
  • Can problem-solve and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, excellent time management, and a self-starter 
  • Fosters a strong desire to learn, welcomes a new challenge, and values the need to collaborate with all team members.

Salary Description
$26.00/hour - $39.00/hour
